Emma

Veterinary Technician

Hi there. My name is Emma and I’m a veterinary technician. I completed and graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2021. I’ve always loved to work and be around animals since I was little. I started at Markham Road Animal Hospital in 2016 as an assistant and fell in love with the field and decided to go back to school to become a tech. When I’m not at work I love to spend time with my own three dogs Nala, Dash and Gizmo and go on adventures and cottage trips with them. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and family, singing and watching Disney movies.

Ashley

Veterinary Technician

Hi there! My name is Ashley and I'm a registered veterinary technician. I completed the veterinary technician program at Seneca College, graduated in the spring of 2019 and passed my registration exam in July. I started working at Markham Road Animal Hospital that same fall. My favourite aspect of the veterinary field is cytology, I love looking at cells under the microscope! Growing up as a kid, I have always loved animals and would constantly ask my parents for a puppy. Now I have my own dog at home, her name is Nyla and she's a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix! When I'm not at work, I'm usually watching Netflix, playing video games or spending time with loved ones.
